RANCHO BERNARDO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SEEKS PROPOSALS FOR RANCHO BERNARDO TO BOOST COMMUNITY PRIDE, REVITALIZATION AND QUALITY OF LIFE

The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation (RBCF), an affiliate of the San Diego Foundation, has announced the release of grant funding to boost community pride, revitalization, and enhance the quality of life for residents in Rancho Bernardo, a community located in the North County Inland region of San Diego, California. Established in 1988, RBCF has been dedicated to supporting local initiatives that foster a more vibrant and thriving community for over three decades.

Daniel Wilson, the current Grants Chair for RBCF, expressed his excitement for the upcoming grant cycle, stating, "In our 36th year, RBCF looks forward to supporting projects that demonstrate the power to build a more vibrant community." The foundation invites eligible organizations to submit proposals for projects that align with their mission and focus on areas such as education, arts and culture, environment, health and human services, and community development.

One specific area of focus for the foundation is music programs for the Rancho Bernardo Symphony on the Green. The symphony is a cherished community event that brings together residents and visitors for an evening of music and entertainment under the stars. The grant funding will help ensure the continued success and growth of this beloved tradition.

The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation is part of the larger San Diego Foundation, which is the largest community foundation in San Diego County. The San Diego Foundation manages over $1 billion in assets and has granted more than $1 billion to nonprofit organizations since its inception in 1975. By working in partnership with the San Diego Foundation, RBCF is able to leverage resources and expertise to maximize the impact of its grantmaking efforts in the Rancho Bernardo community.

Interested organizations are encouraged to review the grant guidelines and application instructions on the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation's website and submit their proposals by the deadline of April 11, 2024. The foundation's grant committee will carefully review each application and make funding decisions based on the project's merit, alignment with the foundation's mission, and potential impact on the Rancho Bernardo community.

By investing in local projects and initiatives, the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation is helping to create a stronger, more connected community where residents can thrive and enjoy the many benefits that Rancho Bernardo has to offer.
