Veto power: UN scrutinizes policy after Russia thwarts condemnation

Russia’s use of its veto power on the United Nations Security Council to stymie condemnation of its actions in Ukraine has reignited a push to reform veto power. Now, dozens of countries want to submit Security Council vetoes to scrutiny by the General Assembly.
