Structure fire in Salem closes highway

Highway 60 in Salem was closed for about three hours overnight as firemen worked to put out a blaze that erupted at workshop.The highway through Salem reopened about 4 a.m., but water from fire trucks had frozen on the pavement making it slick. Caution is urged in that location on the east edge of Salem near the hospital.
