Charitha dropped from COPE; says ashamed of Prez, PM

Professor Charitha Herath, who served as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) prior to the prorogation of Parliament, has not been re-appointed to the COPE of new Parliament.MP Herath currently acts as an independent MP in Parliament.In a tweet, the MP said, "After a delay of two months, the COPE member list is out. As predicted, my name isn't in the list. Thieves, deal makers who are in favour of a corrupted system have won. The people behind economic crimes wanted me out of their way. Shame on you President and Prime Minister!"
