National space challenge ends with the development of hydrogen rockets

The National Space Challenge was a week-long event organized by GovTech in collaboration with Jigme Namgyel Engineering College and the Ministry of Education and Skill Development. The challenge aimed to foster technological advancement and nurture technologically competent youth in Bhutan. During the challenge, Class XII science students were tasked with developing hydrogen rockets as part of their project.

Hydrogen rockets are a type of spacecraft that use hydrogen fuel to propel themselves into space. They have been used for space exploration since the early days of space travel and continue to be an important part of space technology today. The development of hydrogen rockets is a complex process that requires a deep understanding of physics, chemistry, and engineering principles.

The National Space Challenge provided an opportunity for Class XII science students in Bhutan to learn about the principles of hydrogen rocket technology and apply their knowledge to develop their own rockets. The challenge was designed to be both educational and practical, with students working in teams to design, build, and test their rockets.

The challenge was a great success, with many students showing a keen interest in space technology and a willingness to learn and innovate. The development of hydrogen rockets is an important step towards Bhutan's goal of becoming a space-faring nation and fostering technological advancement in the country.
